Debit Card Transactions Missing Payee

Dannyboyy Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭
All transactions made using my debit card post as "Purchase" instead of the Payee/Merchant's name. Prior to approximately 3 weeks ago the Walmart was the only merchant I had this problem with. Is there a solution? At the moment I have to log into my bank and manually update the payee? My Quicken account connects to my back via Direct Connect. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

    Quicken is not at fault, since Quicken only downloads what it finds at the bank. I would complain to the Bank.

    Check to make sure that you don't have a Renaming Rule (Tools menu) that is messing up your downloaded transactions.
    Also look to see what the Downloaded Payee is, you can add that column to the register temporarily to view it.
