How do I modify the list of Autofill transactions that show up when making an entry

When I am creating a new entry and begin to type in the name of the Payee Quicken generates a list of possible autofill entries. This list includes every entry combination that I have made relative to that payee in the past, including my mistakes. Is there a way to locate the list that Quicken is drawing from so I can delete ones that make no sense?

    Yes.

Window: Payees & Rules, and click on the QuickFill button.

You can search for the payee and dispose of any irrelevant rules.

It sounds like you are asking about multiple instances of a what should be a single Payee, but spelled differently. If so, the same Window > Payees & Rules window is where you can find and fix such problems, The main Payees tab lists all your Payees. You can click on two or more Payees in this list and then click the Merge Payees button at the bottom to merge two or more Payees in your database into one.
