updte failed to install r35

i have quicken home and business subscription and the newest release keeps failing to install. I tried installing the mundo patch but when the dialog box comes up it says I have R1. I checked and the version i have is release 27xx. i would like to know why and what steps i take to updae

    You can ignore the version that it says you have installed, that has always been wrong.
