Cannot paste text into Quicken

When I pay a bill using my bank's bill pay feature, I am issued a confirmation number. In the past, I have copied that transaction number and pasted it into the memo field of Quicken. I am no longer able to do that. I thought perhaps it was my bank's website inasmuch as some websites disable a feature that allows you to copy text from their website, however, the confirmation number from my bank will paste into a Word document it just won't past into Quicken. Any suggestions?

I just tried it and I had no problem with pasting in text in to the memo field with Ctrl+V.
Make sure that your preferences are set to use Windows standard and not Quicken standard keyboard mapping:
Edit -> Preferences -> Setup
