Principal balance paid

In my mortgage account tracking, the scale that shows the "principal balance paid" doesn't move; it doesn't allow the mortgage balance to indicate that payments were made, though payments were made in the register (split entry). It doesn't move the needle to where it shows the mortgage (bank) mortgage balance have moved. Why? What am I not doing?

Have you set up this mortgage loan for download?
HOW are you making (recording in your checking account) the mortgage payments?
Can you please take a screenshot of the SPLITs within the payment TO your mortgage, and post it here?
Lastly, What Q product are you running and what BUILD of that product? Do HELP, About Quicken for this info.
