How do I stop the reminder pop-up about upgrading versions? (Q Win 2017)

No matter how many times I uncheck the "remind me later" box, that pop-up won't stop asking me about updating my version every time I login. I'm using Quicken 2017, which is no longer supported...so please stop infiltrating my privately owned and unsupported software. How do I make it stop?

Hi @BonnieT ,
See this FAQ: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7307115/add-your-quicken-information-to-your-posts-plus-how-you-are-connected-to-the-internet
You have not included the version on Quicken 2017.
You can try several things.- https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7731283/installing-reinstalling-and-upgrading-to-windows-quicken-2017-versions-procedural-adjustment Uninstall and reinstall Quicken 2017.
- Create a Windows Firewall Rule that blocks Quicken 2017 from reaching the Internet. Incoming as well as Outgoing.

I find switching the computer to airplane mode before starting QW2017 does the trick.

Hi @mshiggins ,
Airplane mode is not available option on Desktop Computers. Desktop Computers are not portable.

@thecreator of course I am aware that desktop computers may not have an explicit airplane mode. But we are not sure what type of computer the OP or other Quicken users reading this discussion have, so the info is relevant.
