Having the same issue with a Fidelity account. Both our 401k are exactly doubled. removed and reconnected multiple times, the issue persists.

    Hello @bdip

Thank you for reaching out to the Community regarding your issue, although I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your 401k. Did all of the transactions duplicate or are the specific entries that are causing the issue? Another thing is if the amount inside of the account is duplicated it could also be the cash balance is the same as the account balance if you can't find duplicate transactions.

Another option could be to try loading a backup and updating your transactions as well but I would wait first to see if we can find the culprit of the issue before attempting this.

Once you get a chance to try these steps, please let us know what you find.  From there we'll better understand our next steps/options.

    Thanks,

    Quicken Francisco

    A couple of other comments:
    • Check for Placeholders in the register.  If you find any Placeholders they will need to be resolved.
    • Most 401K plans do not allow for cash to be held in the account.  If you have a cash balance showing in Quicken, check to see if your online account (or paper statement) shows a cash balance.  If the 401K plan does not allow for cash to be held and if you have a Paycheck Reminder set up with a deduction(s) for 401K contributions that transfers into your 401K account in Quicken this could be at least part of the problem.
As mentioned by @Quicken Francisco , once you get back to us with your observations/comments we can perhaps help to identify a way to fix the issue.
