Sync Now

Sync Now used to close Quicken when done but stopped. How can I fix it?

    Sync Now should never close Quicken unless Quicken was already in the process of closing before it asked if you want to sync.  Is that what you are talking about?

    Yes, that’s what I mean. But at one time it used to close automatically after the sync was done. I think it changed after one of the updates.

    Try this.
    Edit -> Preferences -> Alerts & Messages -> Reset Quicken Warnings

    What that will do is restore the prompts asking if you want to Sync and one if you want to Exit Quicken.

    See if going through the prompts where you select "Don't show this again" and the Exit, fixes it.

    It now prompts me to backup but not to Sync. If I sync, it still doesn't exit.

    I don't then.  It works for me.  Maybe others have some suggestions.  You might also ask Quicken Support.
