Linking accounts - Penfed changed my LOC account number.

For unknown reasons, Penfed changed my LOC account number. Now I can't update transactions as account is not found. How can I add the new account (number) to the "old" account so as not to lose transaction history.

Thank you, Chris. I will try this later tonight and report back. It looks like what I thought would be necessary. FWIW - very disappointed with how Penfed has rolled out these changes, with no warnings or other info.0

Go to the account and deactivate it for downloading transactions.
Then go Tools -> Add Account, go through this until you get to the screen where it shows you the account(s) and select to link it to the existing account.Signature:

So, after trying to deactivate the old account and attempt to link it with the new account number, Quicken cannot find either account on the Penfed server. It does find two other accounts I have there. Penfed informed me the problem isn't on their end. The changes were made about a week ago - is it possible there is something Quicken has to do?0

At this point I would contact Quicken Support to see if they can help:
