BBVA migration to PNC - finds checking but not credit card

The documents sent by PNC for this migration were less than helpful. It said simply to type in "PNC" when you were setting up, it didn't specify to choose PNC direct connect. But once I figured that out, it was able to find my checking account. However it is not finding my credit card account.

PNC team has been less than helpful. First one yesterday told me to call Quicken. I told her no she wasn't pulling that one. I'm a 10+ year user of Quicken and know how this works. I even tried setting up new account rather than linking to existing... it only finds my checking.

So they transferred me to a "specialist" but after 15 minutes of ringing the call disconnected last night.

Tried again this morning, 2 transfers and 45 minutes of ringing later I was told "Wait a half hour and try again." Sigh. That didn't fix it.

Anyone have any ideas? It worked fine when it was BBVA, my checking and CC would download. I see my CC on the PNC website, but Quicken is not detecting it.

For CC you will need "PNC Bank - Web Connect".

Interesting their team wouldnt know this. I just attempted and it seems to have at least recognized me, it asked for a verification code which was sent to my cell phone. After inputting that I get a "Oops. There is a connection problem." CC-502 . I'll try again later. Thanks! Weird they are not connected the same.

I'm a previous BBVA customer and I, too, thought it was weird that we can't use one set up link for all accounts at PNC.
Regarding the CC-502 error code:  There was an alert posted yesterday about this at NEW 10/12/21 - PNC Bank is blocking CC-505.  Yesterday there was a fair amount of discussion about how the PNC block might be related to the merging of BBVA into PNC because that would require an awful lot of system resources to get it all fully integrated.  Maybe that is what is causing it and is still causing it today but I did notice a couple of people who posted that their CC-50X error was resolved this morning.
Also, you might want to bookmark that Alert so you are kept informed of updates.

no updates in the quicken thread, and still same CC-502 error. Do I attempt to call PNC? Or how long do I wait to see if they resolve? This is really frustrating.

I received no error for PNC CC today, so I would contact Quicken support to try and resolve.

If you have not already done so you might want to read this Support Article: Error When Updating Accounts: CC-502 [Support Article].
BTW, the recommendation in this article to try individually updating an account via Update Now when encountering a CC-502 error code during OSU does often work.  Have you tried Update Now?

I can't even get it setup to do a OSU , this is first time setup. It texts me a code to verify my account, then it gives me this. (screenshot)

I'm on with support right now but thus far they are less than helpful.

Ok so it seems if I choose "PNC Card Services Online" It finds it. PNC really screwed things up with their terrible migration instructions.

So i'm trying on a test file at my office PC to figure it out then I can do it at home. The issue is that the PNC-web connect appears not even to be the right one for the CC. It finds me and sends me a text then gives me a 502. When I try the "PNC Online Card services" option in the bank list, then it finds and downloads. crazy there are so many PNC options. I've used quicken for 10+ years with dozens of banks, never have I had to use a different institution for one type of account vs the other.

And yes on the web connect I was using my online banking username and password. On direct connect I was using the SSN and pin that they gave me.

Yes, some banks do provide multiple options, many of which are dedicated to specific types of accounts and/or types of retail partners and/or connection type.  While you might think it's crazy for PNC to have these multiple options there are others that are much, much more complicated than this PNC situation.  Two that immediately come to mind are Citi.com and Synchrony Bank.
