I have added 3 investment accounts to my new quicken. I bought the Deluxe version. I added a 529,(Pa529.com) 401k (psers.state.pa.us) and 403b (Equitable.com). All of them are I can setup automatically through quicken. However, none of the transactions or balances are coming through. My balance says 0 for each account. My checking and credit card connect perfectly. Please advise

Hi @sk1pmcgee . Sorry to hear you are having problems. Unfortunately, what I am going to tell you is probably going to be disappointing.First, a little information on the types of Quicken connection methods:
- Direct Connect (DC):
Initiated from within Quicken, this is a 2-way communication directly between your Quicken installation and the
Financial Institution (FI). To download investment transactions and
balances from a FI from within Quicken the FI must support DC....and none of these FIs supports DC.
- Express Web Connect (EWC): Initiated from within Quicken, this is a 1-way communication of transactions and accounts data from the FI to the aggregator and then to Quicken. Works pretty well for spending accounts (checking, savings, credit cards) but it cannot be used with investment accounts.
- Web Connect (WC): Manual
download/import of a file in QFX (or "Quicken") format from the FI
online account into Quicken. Can be used with investment accounts
provided the FI supports manual download in this format.
EQUITABLE LIFE INSURANCE CO.: The connection methods Equitable supports are EWC and WC but not DC.07327 07327 07327 Equitable Life Insurance Company https://equitable.com/ 1-888-292-4492 https://equitable.com/ ACTIVE INVESTMENT&WEB-CONNECT INVESTMENT&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NASince EWC does not support downloads of investment accounts and Equitable does not support DC, then Quicken cannot update your 403b account for you.You can check your online account with Equitable to see if they offer manual downloads in QFX (or "Quicken") format and if so then you can manually download/import that file from there into Quicken.PSERS.STATE.PA.US: PSERS supports only EWC. You will not be able to directly download your 401K account data into Quicken.61134 61134 61134 Pennsylvania Public School Employe http://www.psers.state.pa.us/ N/A https://memberprd.psers.pa.gov/v3prod/app ACTIVE BANKING,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NAPa529.COM: They support only EWC so you will not be able to download your 529 account directly into Quicken.61359 61359 61359 Pennsylvania College Savings Progr http://www.pa529.com/ NA https://www.mypa529gspaccount.com/gsptpl/auth/loginFormAction.do ACTIVE BANKING,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NAYour options for your 529 and 401k accounts...and for your 403b account if Equitable does not offer manual download in QFX format:- Manually manage these accounts in Quicken.
- Or, if they offer manual downloads in QIF, OFX, Excel or CSV formats, you can download and install a freeware program called ImportQIF. ImportQIF was developed by a long-time Quicken user and active Community member. It can modify these types of files into something that can then be manually imported into Quicken. You can read more about it and download it from http://www.quicknperlwiz.com/.
