Why are withdrawals from my IRA always set as MiscExp instead of Withdraw?
mnjhaugen
When I download transactions from my IRA, the Action field for the withdrawal for taxes and the withdrawal for deposit into my checking account always gets set to MiscExp. Is there any way I can get the download to recognize these as what they really are so I don't have to continually edit these transactions?

It is the financial institution that determines what "action" a transaction uses.
There isn't anything in Quicken that is going to map the wrong "action type" to what you want.
Just for reference what financial institution is this?
mnjhaugen
Thanks. The financial institution is LPL Financial.
