    @mikek753b,

    What type of account is this at Newport? a 401(k) perhaps? It appears you have it set up in
    Quicken as a tax deferred brokerage account with a linked checking account.

    I have had trouble with transactions downloading incorrectly when the account type at the FI does not match the type in Quicken, and normally IRAs and 401(k)s can't have linked checking accounts.

    You might try setting up a test file in Quicken with the same type of account as the account at Newport and no linked account, and see if the import works better that way. If so, we can explore ways of setting it up the same way in your working file.

    this is DCP type, you may think like 401k before tax, but Fed and State taxes are deferred only
    just info - https://www.ramseysolutions.com/retirement/what-is-a-deferred-compensation-plan

    while on this topic - how to make distribution from this account to use Paystub?
    so far I use plain Split with negative fed and state taxes

    thanks
