Quicken thinks my bank is a brokerage

Out of the blue, and just in the last week, Quicken won't download transactions from my bank as it thinks it is a brokerage. I get this error: "Express Web Connect does not support transaction download for brokerage accounts. To activate transaction download for this account: click add account and select Brokerages as the account type."
I have been downloading transactions for years and years from this account using Quicken. Now suddenly this issue comes up.

What financial institution?
Also have you tried a backup and see if it does the same thing? (Restore to different name so that you don't override the current data file.)Signature:

Started a whole new database. This bank account downloads just fine in the new database. But the old database still has an issue thinking it is a brokerage. I have validated the file showing no errors with that account.0

In that case I would try deactivating the account for online services, and then select Tools -> Add Account. Go through that process and link the online account to the existing on. If that doesn't fix it try it again, but this time create a new account. If that works you can use this procedure to move any missing transactions to the new account:
