Category in Quicken Rental

I am not new to Quicken, but new to quicken Rental. I entered a transaction and it appeared in my register as a new not listed category. What's up?

Was the category listed in your Rental edition before you entered it in the transaction?

If it was not listed in Quicken previously then when you entered it Quicken would have correctly created the category and informed you that it was new.
