when I make a sale of a stock fund I fill out the transaction with name amount etc and hit enter to record the sale and show a deposit in my checking account. However when I look into banking report the cash never appears under "INFLOWS" It does show up in cash by TAG but not in regular cash flow. any suggestions thank

You can always click on SAVE and create a Saved Report with the options & settings you want retained.

What happens during the stock sale in the real physical brokerage account ?Usually it's a Sale --> local brokerage Cash Acct --> transfer out from brokerage into your checking account ?unless, your "checking account" is actually linked to the brokerage as your settlement account.-1

The sale reduces the remainsg shares and shows proceeds are in checking account BUT WHEN I LOOK IN REPORTS “Cash flow” it does NOT SHOW AS AN INFLOW.

I am not at my computer right now, but often reports need to be customized regarding how transfers are treated. Look at the advanced settings for the report customization.0
