Can you manually upload a .csv file with transaction history?

I would like to upload a spreadsheet of 800 transactions instead of manually entering each one into Quicken. Is it possible to upload an Excel file if saved with .csv extension?

I'm not familiar with QIF. Is this a file extension that is required?

ImportQIF will also import CSV files.

Quicken for Windows can not directly import a CSV file of transactions.  You need to use ImportQIF to convert the file to a QIF file for import.
    It does a great job.

-splasher using Q continuously since 1996
    - Subscription Quicken - Win11 and QW2013 - Win11
