"Bill and Income Reminders" » memo field is lost

when I pay a bill from the "Bill and Income Reminders" window [when I click "Manage Bills & Income"]
what I input into the MEMO field is lost; not registered!
then I go to the register and have to update the MEMO field.

This also happens when I "Enter Expense Transaction" from the "Bill and Income Reminders" at the bottom of a Register AND have to change the "Account to Use".
If I use the same account that was programmed into the reminder ALL works as it should.
Please help! thanks
