quicken not importing .qfx file

I just renewed my quicken subscription after letting it lapse for a month. I downloaded my bank data for the last several months as a .qfx file. When i try to import it into my account, nothing happens. I have already updated to the latest quicken version

I suggest you reset the Quicken ID associated with the Quicken file.
- Select Edit > Preferences...
- Select Quicken ID & Cloud Accounts
- Select Sign in as a different user
- Enter yes
- Select Sign Out
- Sign in with the your Quicken ID
