Adding an extra payment and not trigger the reminder to move to the next month

How do I add an extra payment on credit card or loan account before the next monthly minimum payment amount without triggering the Reminder to move to the next month thereby skipping the next monthly due payment. I want to keep making monthly minimum payments at the due dates.
What is the best way to do this? Quick Pay, Check Pay, and doing it at the bank causes their system to skip the next due date.
This really messes up the Scheduled Reminders for the account for which I want to make an extra payment. And it can't be undone.

I am guessing that this happens if you make the extra payment separately from your regular monthly payment.
If you add the extra payment to your regular payment it should not trigger the reminder to advance.
Make sure the lender credits the extra amount to the principal due and does not count it as an early payment.QWin Premier subscription0
