Notify on Investment Cash Balance

Is there a way to get an alert notification when the cash balance on an investment account reaches a specific dollar amount?

    I can't see any alert that address this for an Investment Account.  I suppose you could create a (bogus) checking account by clicking on "show cash in a checking account" for that particular investing account and then set the alert for the checking account.
