Schwab account reclassification

I think you should provide the option of showing the Schwab Government Money fund as "cash" in Quicken. Big problems reconciling cash and shares..... Thank you.

You do have that option.  Presumably you were asked about this when you established the Account in Quicken with the fund in it.  See the first post over here
for the window that's supposed to come up when Quicken "notices" the fund.
In that thread user "hongolito" mentioned being asked the "cash or security?" question with respect to the Schwab Government fund in the past, (he selected "cash") but the recent Schwab changeover flipped that selection back to "security."   He also asked if there was any way to make it work as "cash" again and I posted a topic from the Quicken Help file that was supposed to do just that.  Not sure that it worked but he believes he came up with a work-around.

No, I had that option for another security in another account, but not for this security in this account.
