I cannot get my check register to appear each time I open my Quicken account.

Could you perhaps give us some more information. Typically, when you launch Quicken Mac, it re-opens whatever window(s) and register was open when you last quit Quicken. Are you saying that it opens showing a register other than your checking account? Or what, exactly, are you seeing when you launch Quicken?
