Save the 2005 data to a thumb/flash drive and then use the "restore backup" button in your Quicken program to restore the file however before you do that read the following to see if any of the information in this link applies to you

NOTE: The first step in Step 1 of the instructions cited by Greg_the_Geek states make a BACKUP. Be sure to make it a Quicken backup and not a copy since there are multiple files in the Quicken 2005 data file set and you have to get all of them and a backup is the best way to get all of the pertinent files.
