EWC-dc mismatch

I followed the instructions to get rid of this error code, and everything is fine in terms of downloading correctly etc.
However there was a message saying "accounts at wells fargo are not enabled correctly and I need to deactivate and reactivate properly to get new transactions". I have deactivated and reactivated again and they are downloading. My problem is that I am not able use the Online Center to pay my bills. (I use Wells Fargo bill pay, not Quickens' bill pay). the normal box does not appear, just a box that has tabs that say: transactions, transfers, email, and wells fargo.
Can anyone solve this for me? Thank you

    Your title has EWC (Express Web Connect) in it.  Does that indicate that you are using it for one or more of your Wells Fargo accounts?  Bill Pay through the financial institution is only supported with Direct Connect.

    :) Thank you, that worked. Now if I could only get back the 3.5 hours I wasted over the last 2 days trying to get support from Quicken!!!
