I don't know how to set up my printer to print checks from Quicken mac.

    I'm unclear what you're asking for help with... how to enter a transaction to print as a check, how to actually get a check to print, something specific about your printer...?

    I suggest you start with this link within Quicken's Help pages (Help > Quicken Help) which goes over the basic steps, then post back if you still have questions.
