How to delete file names in Finder that have no files attached?

When I open Finder, there are 2 file names that I have been unable to delete. Neither file name has a file attached.

    Sorry, I don't know what you mean. Everything you see in the Finder is a file. Could you provide more information? A screen shot would be helpful.
