are credit card balance supposed to be calculated in quicken?

I signed up and connected my accounts yesterday, I am using the web portal for the first time today, and I noticed the credit card balances in the web portal, do not match my actual account balance. Quicken showed a credit of $186 when my actual balance shows a debt amount of $221. To get them matched up, I deleted all transactions before the last time my balance was zero (I pay off my full balance every month, so there is a time when my balance is exactly zero. Is this the way it is supposed to be with auto downloads, or is there a way to have the balance synced from the CC issuer?

Unfortunately quicken only downloads the last "x" days that are available from your financial institution, so that leaves really two options. First you can put in a balance adjustment to get them in sync: https://help.quicken.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=3216272
Or do what you did and delete the earliest transactions to get them back in sync.
Either way, from here on out, you'll be able to download and reconcile and stay synced.wags Glad to be here!
