Quicken on 2 different machines

I have Quicken loaded on 2 different machines. My wife works on checking and investment accounts, and I work with the credit cards; We do not access the program at the same time; Is there a way for me to work on the credit cards and then merge those transactions with the quicken on my wife's computer without doing a full backup and restore

Have you thought about maybe using either Quicken on the Web or the Quicken Mobile App for handling the Credit Cards - and then a SYNC on the wife machine would merge the data -

I suggest you consider maintaining one Quicken file.  We use a remote desktop client to access the Windows desktop where we maintain Quicken.  There are a variety of free implementations available.  If you're Windows and network savvy, I recommend Microsoft's Remote Desktop.  If you want simplicity, I recommend TeamViewer.
