Register filters

In the register using the filters; how do I default it for this year only and keep it there unless I want to look to the past?

    Please take a look at this setting:

    [_] Remember Register Filters after Quicken closes

    There's a setting in Edit / Preferences / Register by this name. When enabled, Quicken will remember the Filter settings you applied to a certain bank account register or view and reapply them next time you start Quicken.

    Thanks for the response UKR – In Edit / Preferences / Register / Select Preference Type / Register / I don’t have the / Register by this name.

    I'm looking at Edit / Preferences / Register / Select Preferences: / Register Preference which gives me the options of Register Fields, Transaction entry, Register Row Spacing and Register Appearance (fonts or color choices), but no Register by this name

    I came back to post this but I see you both were on it Thank You ... Ahhh but I did something different that worked I went to the account changed the filter to this year then went to Edit / Preferences / Register / Select Preferences: / Register Preference / Register Appearance ticked Remember register filters after Quicken closes and there is fixed. Thank you for your lead UKR.
