Quicken Reconilliation is Broken

The reconciliation doesn't work. It thinks that things are off when they're not, it doesn't get the online account values correct. And the math is also off. I think it's pretty disappointing.

No really a question. Moreso raising this so you know it's a problem.

@chocolatebar First, you're talking here to a community of fellow Quicken users, plus a few moderators from Quicken. This forum is not official Quicken Support, and you're not talking to the developers or management when you post here.

Second, reconciliation in Quicken Mac works correctly for the vast majority of people. So if it's not working correctly for you, you'll need to dig in to the data to figure out what's going wrong.

If you'd like some help, please share more information. What version of Quicken are you using? Are you new to Quicken or a longtime user? Have you ever successfully completed reconciliation? Are you having problems in one account or multiple accounts?

These types of problems can be difficult to go back-and-forth with questions and answers on a forum like this, so you might prefer to call Quicken Support after the weekend. A Quicken representative can screen share with you, and they may help you get to a resolution faster. But I and others here would be happy to take a crack at it with you, if you'd like to try.
