Investment Expense - Removing shares manually

Is there a way to accept all Investment transactions for Investment expenses where the shares are just removed. I have accept each transaction manually. This is for my Vanguard.

I assume what's happening is that the financial institution is removing shares to cover their fee, removing just enough such that (# of shares) x (price of shares) = Fee $s.
If that's the case then one approach is to create a "sale" of the shares, which will put cash in the Account, and then remove the cash and recognize the expense using the MiscExp action.
