Split a transaction overtime

Hi,
I want to split a transaction over time. Let's say in the budget sheet I have an allowance of $40 for gym membership per month. Then, I buy a yearly subscription worth $480. I would like to somehow break this cost into 12 transactions worth $40 each for each month. So, the gym membership cost shows up in my monthly budget.

Well, how is it going to hit your credit card or checking account? All at once! So you're only trying to fool yourself with this request. Your going to be $440 over budget over in that month ... and trying to catch-up.BUT, If you really want to do this, show the $480 payment as going to a Pre-Paids Asset account and then pay down that account every month.
