Transactions Missing in Credit Card Account

I accessed my credit card account in Quicken and noticed several weeks of transactions were missing as well as several months of reconciled transactions. The balance amount was correct but only about 5 transactions were visible. I would be unable to reconcile the account later this month because of the missing transactions.

I restored a previous backup from a week ago and the missing transactions and previously reconciled transactions were again available. I then had to enter a few missing transactions in my checking account to bring it up to date. 

I have never experienced this before in the 20 years I have been using Quicken. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how did you resolve the issue?

    I have never had such a problem.  From time to time I see people posting with strange things like this happening (usually tied to syncing to Mobile/Web), but I have never any kind of "fix" other than to do exactly what you did.
