Hello All,
I wanted to give you an update on some work that's been going on for a while at Quicken, focused on improving our backend online banking systems.
This transition is invisible, and the majority of Quicken users have already been migrated to the new FDP service.
When the old FDS service is retired on 5/31/22, if you are not on an "FDP supported" release of Quicken, your online banking connections will no longer work.
Make sure you've updated your Quicken version recently:
The easiest thing to do, of course, is to just update to the latest release:
In Windows, open Quicken and go to Help > Check for updates
In Mac, open Quicken and go to Quicken Menu > Check for updates
If you're already on the latest release of Quicken, then you don't need to do anything--you've already been moved to the new FDP service.

What does this mean for me?
FDP is a modern, more stable service for online banking; this service has improved the overall success and security of online banking for Quicken. When the old FDS service is retired on 5/31/22, if you are not on an "FDP supported" release of Quicken, your online banking connections will no longer work.
What do I need to do?
Make sure you've updated your Quicken version recently:- If you're on Windows, you should be on version R36.23 or higher
- Windows Canada users should be on R40 or higher
- Mac (US or Canada), you should be on version 6.4 or higher
The easiest thing to do, of course, is to just update to the latest release:
In Windows, open Quicken and go to Help > Check for updates
In Mac, open Quicken and go to Quicken Menu > Check for updates
If you're already on the latest release of Quicken, then you don't need to do anything--you've already been moved to the new FDP service.
