Old .qdf files

For some reason my computer wiped out my Quicken (not sure of the version but from 10+ years ago). Installed Quicken 2017 on laptop with Win11. When I try to open the old .qdf file I get an error that reads "Please check internet connection and retry. [Error: Name_Not-Resolved]". I have no need to get online with Quicken. Any way around this?? Hoping for a solution. TIA.
