Just Updated to Quicken Deluxe Version R41.19 with New Overdue Transactions - Why?

My updates had been failing recently and this morning it sailed through from version from last month to R41.19 in Quicken Deluxe for Windows 10. My home page shows Bill and Income Reminders overdue for each month starting 3/12/2021 to 6/12/2022 for 3 credit cards in an account that I have never used to pay those credit cards. Those amounts are showing all as zero. Now I hesitate to do anything for fear that skipping all overdue amounts for that payee will lead to other issues. Can I go back to the prior version? Should I bring in my last backup to see if the problem shows there? Should I wait for a new update? Is anyone else seeing this problem?

a) I don't like Quicken auto-updating to a staged release (one first put out to a limited number of users for 'trial runs'). As such, I have my Windows User Access Control (UAC) set to ask me to allow such program updates. I usually reject them until I am ready for a new Quicken release,
b) "Should I bring in my last backup to see if the problem shows there? " Yes, I'd try that - just to see. Quicken would have made a backup of its own immediately prior to installing that update, so you might look for that in your Backup folder as well as trying your last backup.
c) "Can I go back to the prior version?" Yes, you can. Most easily if you kept the prior update file. Or you can go after the prior Mondo update file.
d) Overall, I'd probably try to move forward with the current file. I'd likely delete the current overdue reminders since they appear to reference the wrong account, and I would then recreate them as needed. In the meantime, keep those prior backups.0 -
