It has been half a year since .qfx importing stopped working and the thread states every week "we're working on it, no ETA". You designed this import and it worked for years. Can we get some traction on this issue, please?

I'm curious.  I download .QFX files from my credit union (3 accounts), 2 CapOne credit cards, Target Red Card, Lowes and JCPenney and I import them routinely without any issues.
What sort of error are you getting and are these established and connected accounts in Quicken or are you trying to establish a new account or re-establish a link to an existing account?

@splasher It has been so long since I've tried (since they say 'under investigation' every week) that I'm not sure I can recall the answers correctly... I do recall some Chase credit card accounts not importing, but I don't recall any sort of error when I tried to import them. Basically, nothing happens when I double-click the file (or maybe when I use the Import menu function), as mentioned in the other thread I referenced. I cannot recall if I needed that functionality for anything other than the Chase accounts at the time. They were existing accounts that I hadn't downloaded in over 3 months, so I was forced to export then import.

Studying the OFX log might yield some clues of what is going on (Help -> Contact Support -> Log Files -> OFX Log).  At minimum if it is "processing" it all (as in something appears in the log.  You can also edit the QFX file with Notepad to see what transactions are in it.

For what it is worth I just downloaded a Chase credit account for YTD and it worked just fine.

P.S. I would try importing into a new data file to determine if the problem is data file related or not.

Thanks, I'll give it another shot. I had just assumed that since they said they hadn't fixed it yet, I didn't need to waste more time trying. I will check out the log file, as well.
