My register is adding withdrawals

I have the latest version of Quicken for Mac. On one cc account, it is treating my charges as deposits/payments. Any advice on how to fix it?

Do charges get recorded as charges, with the amount in the Charge column or a negative amount in the Amount column? Or do the amounts appear incorrectly in the Payment column?
Is your account register's Running Balance a black number or is it a negative number (shown in red)?
Is your account register properly sorted by Date and not filtered (to show only selected transactions? In a filtered or sorted-by-some-other-field register, the Running Balance may be misleading because it's a top-to-bottom Running Balance, not showing the actual bank balance specific to this transaction.
Is the account's Opening Balance transaction correct, i.e., 0.00 or a negative amount if you owed money at the day you created the register?
