How do you delete an incorrect stock purchase from investments?

I posted a stock transaction incorrectly but cannot delete it off the screen.

Open the investment account, select the transaction and Delete.

If you don't see the Delete button, you may right-click on the transaction and select Delete instead.

I tried that but the delete button does not respond nor does the edit button.

I have two accounts set up on Quicken. One for me and one for my wife. The edit & delete buttons work on my account but are not working on the account for my wife's records.

After selecting the problem transaction, you can also use Ctrl-D to delete.

When we delete a transaction, a confirmation window should open.  It's possible the confirmation window is active but not visible.  To confirm the deletion you may enter Y and to decline the deletion you may enter N.

Likewise, the Edit button should open an Edit window.  If you're using multiple display's perhaps the window opened on a different display.  I suggest opening Quicken on the display you have chosen to be the main display.
