Manual Mortgage

I'm trying to enter a manual mortgage and the principal and interest amounts that Quicken generates are wrong.
I've tried entering my original loan terms and it's wrong. I've tried entering my loan modification terms as the starting point and it's still wrong.
What, if anything, can I do to get accurate numbers in the loan terms?
Or is it better NOT to track loan terms?

In general, Quicken works correctly with manually-entered loans. There's no way to offer advice because we aren't seeing what you're seeing, and you haven't provided any data. If you care to share your data (e.g. loan amount, start date, number of months, interest rate), folks here could see if they're generating the same issue you're seeing.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19930
