Any update on linking Apple Card to Quicken? If the problem is with Apple Card, can we post info on who and how to contact to make this happen?

I recently got the Apple Card and I was surprised that I could create the direct connect. We need this to happen.

Did you really mean "could not"?

Sorry. I mean't "could not". I've been using Quicken for years and have had very few merchants that didn't offer a connection. Surprised about the Apple Card since every thing about this goes against the philosophy of making things easy. Who wants to enter transactions manually.

Why is this still a problem? So much for making things easier.

Because Apple doesn't want to make it easier.  They decide the download connection that they want to support.
Quicken does not decide that, Apple does, complain to Apple.

It is up to the Financial Institution to decide if and to what extend they want to share transaction data with Quicken, and therefore implement the proper data download mechanism and subsequently make it available to Quicken.
As of now Apple Card does not even provide the capability to download transactions from the card's website - downloads are only available to iPhone.  In other words, Apple has chosen to limit the functionality. Therefore we need to contact Apple (Goldman Sachs) to find out more and make the request.  Given the history of Apple wanting to be different and exclusive, I highly doubt they would entertain this.  Nevertheless, won't hurt to ask.

So, the place to request this with Apple is here.

    https://www.apple.com/feedback/

Click on the link for "Wallet > Apple Pay." Then, under feedback type, you select "Feature Request" and under Product Category, select "Apple Card"

The more people who do this, the better chance it will be heard.

Finally got through to Goldman Sachs. There is no current system in place to make feature request.

You have to talk to a GS “specialist”, and ask them to make a feature request.

Go to Apple Wallet, click on Apple Card, click three dots at top right hand corner and then click message or call depending on your preference. Asking the agent to make the feature request.

Again, the more people who do this the better chance it will be heard.
