why do I see extra transactions when searching

why do I see the last transaction when it does not appear to meet my search criteria?
I searched current year transactions for "First E" and get an odd unassociated transaction at the end of the list. I get the same result (and extra transaction) if I search for "310.00"

I am able to reproduce the same issue in R41.19.  The descending sort by date order appears to be relevant.  If you haven't already, I suggest you report the problem to Quicken: select Help > Report a problem...

The operation you're performing is not searching, it's filtering. If you reported it as searching, you might have pointed the Q staff in the wrong direction and might want to amend your report.
