Inverse Mismatch of Share Qty in Securities Comparison Report

The problem - Share Qty shows inverse amounts between the Securities Comparison Report and the Investment Register for two funds (-124.917 and +124.917).
As background, WCMIX (Instl) converted to WCMRX (Investor Class) on 6/4/20. I entered transaction as a Mutual Fund Conversion and the Quicken Investment Register shows corresponding Shares Removed from WCMIX and Shares Added to WCMRX.
The Share Quantity mismatch shows in the Quicken Securities Comparison. This report shows WCMIX with 124.917 shares reported by Fidelity and 0 shares in Quicken. It also displays WCMRX with 0 shares reported by Fidelity and 124.917 shares in Quicken. Latter is correct and share quantity equals both the quantity on Fidelity Statements and in the investment register.
Another gap is that the Security View table of WCMRX shows that no CUSIP was downloaded by Quicken when asset was added. WCMIX does indicate CUSIP. Is there a way to manually enter CUSIP for WCMRX? TIA

I suspect the CUSIP ID for the Quicken securities may have been mismatched. I suggest you uncheck Matched with online security on the Edit Security Details window of the mismatched securities.
The CUSIP ID is provided by the financial institution when we download transactions. The CUSIP ID is assigned to a Quicken security when we match an online security to a Quicken security. Quicken should prompt to match an online security to a Quicken security when the financial institution provides a security with a CUSIP ID that has not been assigned to a Quicken security. If a Quicken security has been mismatched, we may uncheck Matched with online security on the Edit Security Details window and the Quicken security will become available to be matched to an online security when Quicken next encounters an unmatched online security.

CLARIFICATION OF ORIGINAL POST
(1) Securities Comparison for WCMIX incorrectly shows 124.917 shares in Fidelity. It should list 0 shares reported by Fidelity and 0 shares in the investment register.
(2) Securities Comparison for WCMRX incorrectly shows 0 shares in Fidelity. It should list 124.917 shares reported by Fidelity and 124.917 in the investment register.0 -

Sherlock, your recommended action makes sense. The security match/unmatch solution worked perfectly to correct the previously inverted share qty of the two funds. I suspected a missing link with the assigned CUSIP or security yet couldn’t figure out how to fix. Thanks for your logical explanation and solution. By the way, your insights on other Qn Community topics have helped me understand or resolve other issues, too.
In summary, before I unchecked ‘Matched with Online Security,’ Security A showed 0 shares from Financial Institution (FI) and ~124 shares in Quicken. Security B showed ~124 shares from FI and 0 shares in Quicken. After doing Steps 1 through 3 below, Security A correctly shows ~124 shares and Security B shows 0 shares from FI and in Quicken. And nothing shows for these funds on the Reconcile Shares’ Securities Comparison Mismatch report any more.
For reference to others, here are steps I took to access/edit Match/Unmatch Online Security:
1. Click Tools > Security List > Fund/stock you want to check. Security Detail View opens.
2. Click Edit Details. “Matched with Online Security” shows on lower part of screen for User. Security A was grayed and Security B showed checkmark by ‘Matched with online security.’ As Sherlock recommended, I unchecked Security B’s box and would’ve done same for Security A if it wasn’t grayed.
3. Update both Securities to download info from Financial Institution. To do this from Security Detail View, select Security B from dropdown and then the ‘Update’ tab. Repeat for Security A.
4. Go to Investment Register for the involved account.
5. Click the Gear icon > Reconcile Shares0
