I would like to add an account but without renewing my subscription at this time. Per Quicken's The Quicken Data Access Guarantee means that whether you renew your subscription or not, you'll always have full access to and ownership of your data. You can view, edit, export, and manually enter transactions and accounts, even after your subscription ends. As always, your Quicken data is stored on your local computer. I am not able to. Please show me how to accomplish adding an account.0

I am sorry for any difficulty you are experiencing with adding manual accounts.
Normally, you would navigate to the upper left-hand corner of the screen and click the Add Account button denoted by the '+' symbol. You would then click the Offline Account tab at the bottom of the window that follows. You would then select the appropriate Account Type.
Let me know if something seems to be preventing you from doing this.
Thank you,

What version do you have? The Starter Edition goes into read only mode if you don't renew. You need Deluxe or higher.
I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
