Crazy balances in my checking account

My issue applies only to my checking account, and not to any other accounts I have in Quicken. But the balances that show up for the last several months have been way off, and I’ve had to make large adjustments a few times. I’m talking balances that are $4k to $15,000 too high! I only enter transactions manually , so it isn’t a download issue.
