R42.8 and R42.19 introduced ESPP bug. The last version that will work is R41.19.
Quicken is telling me that my data file is corrupted.
I had proved that if I took my data file to my old laptop, it is working fine.
In the Discussion, many users now had the same issue, we all need to convince Quicken that this is a bug, not a data file corruption. Quicken is telling me to create a new data file and loss my 3 decades of my trading.

I reverted back to R41.19
Now ESPP works.

Same issue for me with buy ESPP pointing to totally wrong stock.

Try reverting back to R41.19 using the link provided by @Hong above and see if that works for you. If it does be sure to report back as that would point to some problem with the R42.XX update.
