Account with RSU showing incorrect balance
jonlowe
:# Added a new account this morning and then was adding some new RSUs that I had granted using the new features in quicken. I first added the grant in there the way it was written where it vests 25% per year over 4 years - but quicken incorrectly counted the RSU count in year 2 3 and 4. Maybe I had done it incorrectly so instead I added 4x separate RSU grants, each with a single 100% grant date - one 12, 24, 36, and 48 months away. This shows in the ledger like Id expect, but now I notice that my account balance is value -- but the account is $0 and has no balance until the first vest out in 2023. Why is quicken reporting a balance for unvested stock? This is affecting the net worth calculation since those funds are not actually allocated/available. Is this intentional?
