Exported report does not contain categories from splits - only states --Split-- in category field

Hello. I am trying to build a report in excel from an exported report from quicken. The categories itemized in the split do not show in the exported report. It just shows --Split-- in the category column. Is there a way to get the categories which are defined in the split detail to show in the exported report, perhaps in another column? Thank you.

What is the base report that you are exporting? Some reports have a "Show splits" option.

What you might want to try is a report which generates one transaction line for each Split, like the Itemized Categories report, updated to show Transaction Detail.
A Transaction detail report, set to show Splits, will probably not show enough transaction detail for each individual split to make something you can use in Excel.
