I have a problem with a differing Quicken online balance that began when the Chase Bank and Quicken went to the Express Web Connect Plus and never seemed to happen before, outside of the usual overnight lag that usually occurred. What I find is that my balance and the balance of the posted charges at Chase's website always correlate perfectly BUT I noticed today that the online balance is less than the real balance by exactly the sum total of the PENDING charges. It's like the behind the scene calculation thinks the actual posted balance includes the PENDING charges so it subtracts them to get their calulated online balance. Somewhere there's a formula that needs to be tweaked.0

I agree it is a problem that makes it impossible to reconcile if there are always pending transactions that have not been cleared in quicken (the desktop version) in my case0
